FAQ

Are your drivers uniformed?

Yes, our drivers are professionals and dress accordingly in The Courier Connection uniforms.

When should I use The Courier Connection instead of FedEx and UPS?

When shipping locally or regionally, it doesn't make sense to pay for a national shipping model, where your package must first fly to Memphis or some other hub, before coming back to the area.  Therefore, for any local or regional shipment, it's better to do business with a local company, such as The Courier Connection.

Do you have employees with security clearances for government deliveries and pickup?

Yes, we have many clients within the federal government, as well as the thousands of contractors who serve various federal agencies.  If you have packages that require security clearances, please give us a call.  We can help.

Are your employees screened?

Yes. Employees are screened prior to hiring and periodically during employment. All employees are subject to drug testing, criminal background checks, and many have security clearances.

How much notice do you require for scheduling shipments?

24 hours or less.

Do you have maximum and minimum package or freight sizes?

No.  We can handle your shipment no matter how small or large, simple or complicated.

Is there a way that I can track my package?

Yes, and we take it several steps further than traditional Proof of Delivery tracking.  In addition to your ability to log in to our system with your tracking code to determine whether your package has reached its destination, you can even track the delivery truck.  Using GPS technology, The Courier Connection knows where your package is at every minute of its transit - and you will know where it is too.

Do you offer warehousing services?

Yes, our large, secure warehouse is available for your use.  We do not set minimums or maximum terms, nor do we place minimum or maximum dollar values on your packages.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the U.S. East Coast with special focus on Philadelphia, Mid-Atlantic areas (Baltimore, Washington DC, Northern VA), Richmond, Norfolk, Raleigh/Durham, Charlotte, Charleston, and Atlanta, and all points in between.

Are you insured? What are the limits?

  • $2,000,000 General Liability
  • $1,000,000 Auto Liability
  • $5,000,000 Umbrella
